The Taittinger Vintage is made from the first press wines of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir. The majority of the wines used in the blend are Grand Cru status from the Côte des Blancs, the Montagne de Reims and the beginning of the Marne Valley. This vintage has a pale gold colour, an attractive nutty nose, a dry crisp palate with excellent concentration of fruit and a long complex finish. Overall very elegant.
