Grant Burge Wines was formed in 1988 by Grant, a fifth generation winemaker, at the historic Moorooroo Cellars in the heart of the Barossa Valley, 80 kms north of Adelaide.
Grant Burge has been awarded every major winemaking trophy and medal in Australia, including the Jimmy Watson, Stodart, Brisbane Club and Montgomery trophies, and he continues to be one of the most respected and renowned forces in the Australian wine industry. He is absolutely committed to the Barossa Valley, which, he passionately believes, deserves to be recognized as one of the greatest quality wine regions of the world.
The Grant Burge offering is based around individual vineyards, which also include the cooler areas of the Adelaide Hills and Eden Valley, each having different climates, soils and characteristics. Grant matches them with suitable grape varieties, ensuring harvests of the best quality fruit and producing quality wines of character and integrity.
